Portuguese designer francisco providência, won a Red Dot award in this year edition, on the categorie lighting and lamps, with is 17º lighting pole.The pole is produced by Larus, a portuguese company well knowed for is clear bet on national designer and on is internationalization.

This is the third Red Dot awarded to the Comunication and Art Department of University of Aveiro professors after Carlos Aguiar awards in 2002 and 2007.
